College Transfer
 
Documents to be submitted

 

1. College transfer application recommended by the Principals of both colleges (To be Downloaded from the University Website) 
2. Copy of Vacancy Notification
3. Copy of Rank list
4. Covering letter from the Principal of the College to where the candidate provisionally admitted.
5. Previous semester registration/attendance details of the candidate.
6. Chalan details
 
Fee Structure 

 
Rs. 335 ( For UG/PG Programs) 

Points to be noted. 
 

a) As per the existing regulation of   UG/PG program, college transfer is permissible in all semesters except first and last semester
b) For UG Programs, College transfer with complimentary change is permissible in 3rd semester (UG) only.
c) Admission through college transfer should be completed within 15 days from the date of commencement of each semester.
d) Discontinued/Year out students are not permitted for college transfer.
e) College transfer is permitted only once during the entire duration of program (UG/PG)
 
General Guidelines

a) As per the norms of college transfer (UG/PG), the procedure for college transfer is to be completed within 15 days from the date of commencement of each semester.
b) The colleges concerned are authorized to notify the vacancy position on the 11th working day of each semester.
c) Students willing to opt for college transfer shall submit the application to the respective colleges within three days from the date of issuance of notification.
d) The rank list of the candidates shall be prepared by the colleges on the basis of the marks/reservation. Eligible candidates shall be admitted purely on the basis of merit/reservation.
e) The colleges shall forward the   duly filled  applications with proper recommendations along with necessary documents to the University, within 15 days from the date of admission of the student, for regularizing the provisional admission


The duly filled application with all documents shall be forwarded to the Deputy Registrar ,General &Academic Branch, University of Calicut , Calicut University PO, Malappuram,673635.
