Vaikom Muhammed Basheer Museum
Project Objectives/Vision:
- Museum named as Vaikom Muhammed Basheer Museum.
- Museum Project foreseeing as a centre for Men of letters, readers and spectators.
- It foreseeing socio-cultural interactive space, people who are always engaged with language, literature, art and culture.
- It foreseeing the documentation of visual as well as interactive expression of various discourses.
- It forseeing as a repository of history, culture of Kerala,Malayalam & Malayalee.
Special Attention to Writings and Events of Vaikom Muhammed Basheer
- It is a collection centre. Books, photos, translations, letters, manuscripts and other properties of Basheer and his contemporary writers and artists.
- It foreseeing a visual gallery of photos, illustrations, paintings, sculptures, Character Sketches, music etc.
- Visual studio and film gallery – collection of films based on Malayalam fiction and Basheer’s life and writings.
- It foreseeing as a centre of audio visual studio space for spectators.
- It must be interactive space for very new mode of digital technology.
- It must be in the mode of best acoustic system like Binnalae delivering the voices of distinguished writers, artists especially Vaikom Muhammed Basheer.
